Amber strengthens executive team

2025 is already shaping up to be a milestone year for Amber. As a Cardiff-based B Corp, we support businesses across the UK with their energy management, Net Zero, and compliance goals. We understand that having the right leadership team is crucial for delivering results for our people, our customers, and the planet.

At the beginning of this year, we announced the appointment of Nick Richards as our new Chief Financial and Commercial Officer (CFCO). He has brought a wealth of strategic finance expertise to support our growth plans. Shortly after, at the end of Q1, we welcomed Leanne Cinderby as our Chief Operating Officer (COO). Leanne has already made a significant impact by focusing on strengthening operational efficiency, enabling our teams to thrive and continue providing best-in-class service for our clients.

We are now excited to announce two further promotions that complete Amber’s C-Suite and work alongside our CEO and Founder, Nick Proctor.

First, congratulations to Andy Thomas, who has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Andy has led our Digital Enablement team with incredible dedication, ensuring that our platforms are robust, secure, and ready to deliver insights for our customers. In his new role, Andy will continue to drive our digital strategy, ensuring Amber remains at the forefront of technology in the energy sector.

We are also delighted to announce the promotion of Andrew (AJ) Walker to Chief Net Zero Consulting Officer (CNZCO). AJ has been instrumental in growing our Net Zero team, using both his commercial experience and depth of Net Zero knowledge to help our customers with their Net Zero ambitions. As CNZCO, he will lead the development of services that empower organisations at every stage of their Net Zero journey.

With a strengthened Executive Team now in place, Amber is entering an exciting new era, better equipped than ever to innovate, grow sustainably, and support organisations on their path to Net Zero. This is an exciting time for Amber and our clients, and we are looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring.
