Meet Andy Thomas, our New Chief Technology Officer
We are excited to announce that Andy Thomas has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Amber. Andy joined Amber in 2023 as our Director of Technology, bringing a wealth of experience and leading our Digital Enablement Team to deliver some exciting new projects. Since then, his leadership has been crucial in advancing our digital strategy to benefit both our employees and our customers.
Nick Proctor, our CEO, shared his thoughts on Andy’s appointment:

Reflecting on his promotion, Andy said:
“I’m excited to further embed cloud-native technology within Amber by implementing cloud-native ETL, real-time data streaming, event-driven architecture, and microservices. Additionally, we will leverage Amazon Bedrock to integrate AI into more of our services and products.
“With the addition of new engineering talent bringing fresh skills to our already deep expertise, we are well-positioned to explore even more exciting technology. My team’s priority is to provide our amazing staff with reliable, frictionless technology, enabling them to spend less time managing systems and more time our customers.”
