Meet Shaun Greenwood…

For our next team spotlight we’ll be catching up with our Trainee Salesforce Admin, Shaun Greenwood.

Shaun has been a part of Team Amber since August 2020, when he joined as an Energy Procurement Coordinator. In this role he took on the responsibility of supporting the team in executing procurement activities and ensuring the documentation of newly secured contracts. During his time in this role, Amber supported Shaun in the completion of an ILM Level 2 qualification, empowering him to make meaningful contributions both internally and externally.

After dedicating two years to his coordinator role and gaining valuable insights into our clients, with his newly acquired skills from the ILM qualification, Shaun was promoted to Energy Procurement Analyst. This new position involved greater responsibilities as well as negotiating new energy supply contracts in alignment with our client’s needs, requirements, and Net Zero objectives. Shaun was entrusted with managing his client list and collaborated closely with our Relationship Management and Trading Teams.

After more than three years with our Procurement Team, Shaun took the plunge when an exciting opportunity arose within our Digital Enablement Team. He was successful in securing a role as a Trainee Salesforce Administrator, a role which focuses on enhancing internal CRM systems to better serve clients across all departments.

We spoke to Shaun about his new role and here’s what he had to say,
