What is a MOP?

A Meter Operator (MOP) is responsible for installing and maintaining your electricity meter. You can either let your energy supplier nominate a MOP (often with hidden, higher costs), or contract directly – giving you transparency, savings, and control.

Amber offers a streamlined way to manage MOP, Data Collection (DC), and Data Aggregation (DA) under a single contract, known as MOP DCDA.

What is the opportunity?

Save up to £600 per meter per year

Gain clarity and control over your costs

Avoid inflated supplier rates

Prepare for changes in your portfolio
